Lloyd Pope and Jamie Overton have been included in the KFC BBL|14 Team of the Tournament as voted by the competition’s eight coaches.
Pope was selected in his first BBL Team of the Tournament after picking up 15 wickets at an average of 21.13, while this is Overton’s second consecutive selection.
The leg-spinner overcame a difficult start to the tournament but bounced back with a Player of the Match performance against the Melbourne Stars with 3-21 from his four overs.
Pope took multiple wickets against the Brisbane Heat twice, Melbourne Renegades, Hobart Hurricanes and Sydney Sixers to finish just two behind the BKT Golden Arm Jason Behrendorff.
Overton’s second Team of the Tournament honours came on the back of a fantastic all-round season, where he shined with bat, ball and in the field.
The strapping all-rounder finished the season with an impressive 191 runs at an average of 95.5 and 11 wickets at 27.72.
There were seven first-time selections across the competition.
