An Adelaide Strikers squad of 15 has been selected for the first WBBL Stadium Series, with the team being one win away from securing first position on the Weber WBBL|09 ladder and therefore a home final.
Adelaide Oval will host a historic doubleheader on Friday, with the top four teams playing on the iconic turf as they fight for their position in WBBL|09 finals.
Brisbane Heat and Sydney Thunder will be battling for the last finals position in the opening game beginning at 3:10pm, while the Adelaide Strikers will lock away top position and therefore The Final hosting rights if they win against the Perth Scorchers in their match starting at 6:40pm.
The winner between Adelaide and Perth will also earn the Faith Thomas Trophy, for the first time since the late, great Aunty Faith passed away earlier this year.
There will be a heap of entertainment both on and off the field for all attendees, with giveaways, free food from Weber, kid zone, music performances and more.
The entire Strikers squad could feature in the Stadium Series, not just on Friday at Adelaide Oval, but also Sunday morning's match against the Hurricanes at the SCG.
