Squad for home match against 'Gades

An unchanged squad has been named for the Adelaide Strikers home match against the Renegades at Karen Rolton Oval on Wednesday night.

After two important wins in Perth over the weekend, including a clutch final-ball victory against the Scorchers, there was no need to change the squad which is currently sitting in the top two of the standings.

Squad of 13: Tahlia McGrath (C), Megan Schutt (VC), Georgia Adams, Jemma Barsby, Danielle Gibson, Katie Mack, Anesu Mushangwe, Courtney Neale, Annie O’Neil, Bridget Patterson (WK), Amanda-Jade Wellington, Ella Wilson, Laura Wolvaardt

Strikers opening batter Katie Mack, who has won three Player of the Match awards already in WBBL|09, spoke about the star power that will be in the match.

“Hopefully we get a big crowd at Karen Rolton tomorrow,” Mack said.

“There are some huge stars, Harmanpreet Kaur and you've got Hayley Matthews who had amazing series against Australia recently.

“They did get on top of us last game we played them, so we are really keen to get the win this time.

“And then on our side, you have T-Mac (captain Tahlia McGrath) and Shooter (Megan Schutt) playing at home.

“I'm hoping that people can come down and get around us.”

Enfes Gozleme will be back at Karen Rolton Oval on Wednesday, alongside the Park 25 Pantry and White Claw Hill.

The Kid Zone will also be in full force again in the Mini Village Green.

Cancer Council SA is the Match Day Partner for Wednesday’s game and as part of that, Stanley and Co. Lawyers will be donating $300 to ‘Hit Cancer for Six’ for every six hit during the match.

Tickets to the game, beginning at 6:40pm, can be purchased here.
