FAQs

WHO ARE THE COACHES?

One-on-one sessions will be delivered by experienced South Australian Cricket Association staff and coaches. These include coaches of SACA Pathway teams, and former and current players at First Class, List A or SACA Premier Cricket level.

WHAT DO WE NEED TO BRING?

Players will be required to bring their own protective equipment in line with COVID-Safe recommendations. Players should also bring:

  • Hat
  • Drink Bottle

Any other specific coaching equipment will be provided.

CAN I SELECT MY COACH OR FOCUS AREA?

Players are welcome to specify the skill or focus area of the session at the time of registration. Players will then be allocated a coach with a suitable skill set and experience.

ARE THE ADELAIDE STRIKERS HOLIDAY PROGRAMS COVID-SAFE?

Yes. Adelaide Strikers Holiday Programs are held in a non-contact environment. All SACA coaches have completed COVID Marshal training and will ensure hand sanitiser is available.

If any players or parents are feeling unwell or experiencing symptoms, or if any of their close contacts are feeling unwell or experiencing symptoms, they must stay home.

CAN I REGISTER FOR MULTIPLE SESSIONS?

Players are welcome to register for multiple sessions. Please specify at the time of registration the specific skill or focus area that you wish to focus on for each session.

CAN I USE MY GOVERNMENT SPORTS VOUCHER TO RECEIVE A DISCOUNT?

No. Unfortunately, the one-on-one sessions do not meet the eligibility criteria, so players will be unable to register using their Sports Voucher.

WILL I RECEIVE ANY FURTHER DETAILS PRIOR TO THE FIRST SESSION?

All players will receive an email in the week prior to their one-on-one session confirming any specific information.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE PROGRAM IS AFFECTED BY WEATHER?

Majority sessions will be held in the Favell Dansie Indoor Centre at Adelaide Oval which will limit the impact of weather. If a session does have to be cancelled, families will be notified via email and provided the opportunity to reschedule their session where possible.

ARE PARENTS/GUARDIANS EXPECTED TO STAY AT THE VENUE FOR THE ENTIRE SESSION?

No. Once your child is checked in with their coach, parents and guardians are welcome to leave and return 10-15 minutes prior to the end of the session.
