DECEMBER 2024 ACADEMY REGISTRATIONS OPEN NOW!
This school holidays, Junior Cricketers can train like the Adelaide Strikers. This one-day intensive program has been designed by our coaches to improve your pre-existing game, while also having loads of fun!
You will bat and bowl in the Adelaide Oval Indoor nets, whilst using the state-of-the-art technology including speed guns for fast bowling, as well as some fun fitness-based tests that revolve around agility and speed!
You’ll also have an extensive tour of player-only areas of the Adelaide Oval, including changerooms, player dining room, and gymnasium.

HOW DO I REGISTER? All registrations and payments must be online. Please click the 'register now' link below and follow the instructions.

WHAT DO WE NEED TO BRING?
Junior players will be required to bring their own protective equipment.
- Bat
- Pads
- Gloves
- Abdominal guard
- Helmet
Players should also bring:
- Hat
- Drink bottle
- Snack/s
WHO ARE THE COACHES?
Each group and game will be managed by one of the South Australian Cricket Association’s enthusiastic and accredited coaches.
WHAT IS INCLUDED WITH THE REGISTRATION FEE?
Your child will receive an Adelaide Strikers Junior Academy Shirt and Lunch.
DO THE GAMES RUN FOR ONE DAY OR MULTIPLE DAYS?
The Adelaide Strikers Junior Academy will run for one day.
CAN I USE MY GOVERNMENT SPORTS VOUCHER TO RECEIVE A DISCOUNT?
No. Unfortunately, the Adelaide Strikers Junior Academy does not meet the eligibility criteria, so players will be unable to register using their Sports Voucher.
WILL I RECEIVE ANY FURTHER DETAILS PRIOR TO THE FIRST SESSION?
All players will receive an email in the week prior to their program confirming any specific information.
WHAT HAPPENS IF THE PROGRAM IS AFFECTED BY WEATHER?
The program will be held in the Favell Dansie Indoor Centre at Adelaide Oval which will limit the impact of weather.
ARE PARENTS/GUARDIANS EXPECTED TO STAY AT THE VENUE FOR THE FULL SESSION?
No. Once your child is checked in with their team coach, parents and guardians are welcome to leave and return 10-15 minutes prior to the end of the session.
